Since his arrival in April 2024, Drew has substantially contributed to Margulies Faith’s representation of corporate and individual chapter 11 debtors as well as creditors and litigants seeking to enforce their rights or protect their interests in bankruptcy. Drew holds a J.D. from the University of Oregon School of Law and a LL.M. in Corporate Bankruptcy from St. John’s University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the State of New York and currently seeking admission to the California State Bar.

While at law school, Drew externed for the Honorable Thomas M. Renn and the Honorable Frank R. Alley (retired) in the United States Bankruptcy Court of the District of Oregon.

From 2016 to 2017, Drew served as the judicial clerk for the Honorable Robert D. Drain (retired) in the United States Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of New York. Following his clerkship, Drew was hired by an international law firm where he contributed to the firm’s representation of the Official Committee of the Unsecured Creditors (UCC) in the Title III and Title VI reorganization proceedings of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico – the largest governmental bankruptcy in United States history. His contributions to the historic bankruptcy included the drafting of a key memorandum on Puerto Rico’s constitutional debt limit as well as the UCC’s objection to the Government Development Bank’s Title VI debt adjustment plan, which sought to modify billions of dollars in bonds and deposit accounts.

In addition, Drew has significant experience with civil litigation involving business disputes and fraudulent transactions.

Outside of the office, Drew enjoys spending time at home with his partner Ivette and their three young daughters. He is also an avid fan of Notre Dame football and Dodger baseball.
